Purpose of the Columbus Cottage Program
The NeighborWorks® Columbus “Columbus Cottage” program will:
- Provide safe, sanitary, efficient housing for elderly and/or disabled residents at risk of becoming homeless
- Preserve affordable housing within the Columbus community
- Replace aging substandard housing units
- Target persons most in need of intervention
- Improve quality of life of its participants
- Permit aging in place on owner’s property
