The Columbus Cottage Program offers a lifeline to elderly indigent homeowners who are in danger of becoming homeless. Each Columbus Cottage is set up as a life estate, meaning the recipient can live out his or her remaining years in a home that is clean, safe, and comfortable.
This is a grass roots effort and as such, we must look towards the support of community business leaders and civic-minded individuals to insure the Columbus Cottage Program can help those seniors who are living in deplorable, run down and unsafe homes.
The cottage returns to the Cottage Program, and will be used for other elderly residents insuring the circle of hope continues. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your compassion and support.
