Community Revitalization Program
NeighborWorks® Columbus is making history in Columbus, GA. Some of the city's most challenging neighborhoods are being given new life - young families are being afforded the opportunity to own their first home - and this process of rebirth and revitalization is becoming a role model for the state.
Come share the stories that tell of how community partnerships are being built that are transforming the lives of so many people. Learn how the NeighborWorks® program is infusing new life into Columbus' old neighborhoods.

East Wynnton Neighborhood
Growing up from childhood in the East Wynnton neighborhood had a remarkable impact on many of its residents. The experiences literally shaped their lives. Come share the stories of what the old neighborhood used to be like, and how the present neighborhood is taking on new life. The path through East Wynnton is one you will always remember. The dirt is good here!

Columbus Cottage Program
Columbus Cottage Program was the focus of NeighborWorks® Columbus 2008 Annual Campaign. NeighborWorks® Columbus will assist 6-10 elderly, impoverished residents who are in danger of becoming homeless. The Columbus Cottage Program is designed to help those that have no other assistance available to them. NeighborWorks® Columbus and our partners will build Cottage homes on the recipient’s own land. These Cottages will be set up as a life estate for each elderly/disabled senior. After the death of the Cottages recipient, the cottages return to the CCC program and will then be used for other elderly, low-income individuals, persons with special needs or homeless housing.The circle of life – and hope – continues.
