HOMEOWNERS & INSPECTION Pt. 1


Over the next few days, we will post a few tips that will make you think twice about a “Proper Home Inspection”. Many homeowners search for homes that are within their budget. Even though purchasing a home is about dollars and cents, you do not want to compromise on the stability of the structure. Here are a few questions that you should ask a professional.

How stable is the foundation?
The old-school method of detecting foundation problems still works: Drop a marble on the floor and see how far (and how fast) it rolls. Sloping or sagging floors can indicate serious foundation problems that can cost a fortune to fix, inspectors and appraisers warn.
